The Path to Service

If I look back at my life honestly, the path that eventually led me to service did not begin with service at all.

It began with some (or a lot) of pain, and a genuinely embarrassing amount of searching.

Since I was very young, I've been searching for clarity and emotional regulation, though I didn't have those words for it then. I just remember a deep curiosity about why we feel what we feel, why we suffer, and how we find our way through hard moments. Something in me always wanted to understand life more.

For a long time, that search lived mostly in my head. I read. I studied. I went down many, many deep rabbit holes with teachers, gurus, shamans, you name it, gathering perspectives, making sense of the world.

But life has a way of asking us to go beyond understanding, and my soul is actually quite persistent, so it keeps pushing.

Through the different seasons — relationships, marriage, divorce, motherhood, grief, reinvention — everything I'd studied slowly moved from my head into my lived experience. It stopped being something I was learning about and simply became part of how I lived.

And somewhere along that path, the question shifted. It was no longer only How do I navigate my own life with more clarity? It became: I can't waste all this experience and knowledge. How can I help people with all of "this"?

Little did I know, that was the beginning of my path to service. You have to look back to connect the dots.

It didn't start with coaching or offerings. It started inside Seekers Circle, very simply, sharing books, films, and ideas that had helped me see life differently. Over time it became something deeper: holding space for conversation, reflection, and community.

Later, through my somatic coaching work, I realized the things I could most naturally support people through were the things I'd lived myself: life transitions, grief, rebuilding, relationships, divorce, parenting, reinventing yourself after a chapter closes. You know, the simple, easy things.

Not because I have perfect answers, but because I understand those seasons from the inside.

And one of the things I find most beautiful about the coaches in our community is that each person's path to service looks different. Different stories, different seasons, different medicine. And that medicine, once integrated, is often the thing only we can offer others.

This month inside Seekers Circle, we're exploring exactly that: The Path to Service. We'll talk with coaches in our community about their own journeys — when they first began living more consciously, how their perspective shifted, and how that eventually became a desire to support others. Questions like: How does personal growth become service? How do we recognize our own "medicine"? And once we feel that call, how do we bring it into the world clearly and grounded?

There are many paths to service — coaching, leadership, creativity, parenting, community building, or simply the way you show up for the people around you. Service isn't one role. It's what happens when we let life's lessons become useful beyond ourselves.

So to open this month, I'd love to invite you into the reflection too: When did your own path of consciousness begin? Was there a moment, a season, an experience that changed how you saw yourself or the world? And looking at your life today, what experiences shaped the wisdom you now carry?

Sometimes our deepest medicine begins exactly where life asked us to grow.

I'm looking forward to exploring this theme together all month.

With love,

Daniela

For anyone ready to grow inside the relationships that matter most.

Most of us were taught how to find love. Very few were taught how to grow inside one. This is a quiet introduction to the work of conscious partnership — what it takes to remain in love without losing yourself, and to build a relationship that endures.

Inside: Why love alone does not sustain a relationship — and what does. Emotional mastery and relational literacy, the two capacities of conscious love. Three practices you can begin this week. A companion meditation to eel it in your body.
